Thom and Ophelia reside in Madison, Wisconsin raising their two kids, one dog, three cats, and two fish. Thom is a stay-at-home dad who enjoys cooking, bicycle riding, music, and getting into shenanigans with the kiddoes. Ophelia works in banking and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and wasting “free” time on the internet. One of their children attends public school and the other is home schooled by choice.
Once upon a time, Brenda Winter Hansen was a Midwestern girl, but now she’s a Pacific Northwestern mom who still loves to get outside, bake from scratch, and look for adventure around every corner. Luckily, it’s easy to do with a mad scientist husband, two wild & crazy kids, one dog, three chickens, one cat, five fish and a snail named Barley.
Besides being an avid reader, erratic gardener, homebrewer and foodie, Brenda also writes novels for teens and splits her time volunteering between 826 Seattle and the Western Washington Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI-WWA).
